Last Day of Vacation Bible School

Today was the last day of Vacation Bible School. Lon was sorry to see it end.  The parents were allowed to come a little early to watch the closing.

One of the last bits was to try and understand forever. They were to close their eyes and open their hands.  Then eat what was given to them. Chocolate covered pop rocks. The sensation was over in just a few minutes. Not forever. The only thing forever is God's love

The theme was Everest and they decorated the hall with prayer flags. Each had a little prayer on them.

After we were done and said our thank yous, we went to out for pizza. Lon was showing me how he figured out the Befuddler game they had given all the kids. He was the first one to figure it out and he even showed other kids how to do it.

The slices here are HUGE!

It was a great morning!
