So Much Stuff for a Tuesday

After the morning well spent at the children's museum, we went and had a good lunch at the Niantic Diner, Lon ate his hot dog and some of my fried clams. I love fried clams, not bellies, just the strips. Yummy!

After lunch looking at the little stream. We have to hold on to Lon near water, he likes to rush into it!

If you look closely you can see the wild turkeys running into the woods. They were everywhere. Lots of wild turkeys.

The museum wore the little guy out!

The rain came back, poor cows in the rain.

More wet cows. Behind lovely rock walls.

The rain let up again, and we stopped at Salem Valley Ice Cream. Mark and I shared a small cone. Small is HUGE. I shared because I could not finish it all. Lon slept through the ice cream stop.

Don't worry, when we got back to GrammaLyn's house,Lon got ice cream.

Meeting Max cat.

After a change of shirts, we went to the Gridlock Grill in New London.

Where Daddy got his twin lobsters. Yes, he did share a little.

Lon ate the oranges off everyone's plate, and most of his hot dog.

Mainly, it was about the ice cream.

Lon wanted to eat it all by himself, so he did.
Thus ended our first full day in Connecticut. Lon had a great day.
