The reason for our visit to Oregon. (as if you really need a reason to go to Oregon)

The backup wheel. Lon got to spin it a little, it is tied down. He had fun, there were alot of people encouraging him to see if he could even move it a little. 
Cool, there is water down there. 
Eddie must be held at all times by Mommy or Daddy. This did not make the little one happy. 
I can go up ALL BY MYSELF thank you very much.
The rigging
. We talked to some of the cadets, one thought that going up in the rigging was the best part. 147 feet off the deck in a rolling sea. I think he will make a fine Coastie.

Yes, this was just a couple days ago. In JUNE. Cold, windy, rainy. Normal.
