Family History

Today we went up to Fairview Cemetery in New Britain, CT.
The ghost signs are so cool.
Lon looking for family names.
We went up to the office and they copied all of the internment cards they had of the family for me. Very nice lady  who worked there.

Sacred Heart Church on Broad Street in New Britain.
Also known as Polish Street.
Which is where we went next
We did a little shopping at PolMart. Got some fun things to take home and some more fun things to eat now! Like paczki. Polish jelly filled doughnuts. They are, well were, very yummy. I also got some poppy seed roll too.
Lon wanted to see if we could find the kinder eggs they had before. When we went down to the store that had them, they had changed over to a regular restaurant. They no longer sold grocery items.
The sign on the green grocer
The Polmart mural.

After leaving Broad Street we were hungry.
We took a couple wrong turns and ended up in Berlin. We found a decent pizza spot called Central Pizza. We all shared a pizza.
We went back to the house, got a new fuse for the rental car. The power outlets now work.
Spent lots of time this evening going over more family history
It was a good day.
