Looking in all the compartments of the truck. We had some great tour guides! Mo, he is the one talking now, he kept the boys interested!
Inside the ambulance. They learned about what the ambulance does, transport sick people to the hospital.
Lon drives the pumper truck. When the first showed the boys the trucks, Lon knew which truck was which and what they did.
Group Photo. I used this one on the little thank you note we took up to the fire station in the afternoon. (with a plate of brownies!). Yes, I used the line Chipmunks in Diapers. All the boys cracked up with natural smiles. Gotta love that
Learning the back of the ladder truck is another driver. The truck is so long it takes TWO people to drive it
They all got to try on helmets, and coats and tanks. Lon could not wear all three at the same time. It was too heavy!
Learning about the light that makes all the lights turn green. The boys all thought that would be cool to have that on their cars.
We all had a great time.
Thank you so much to Fire Station 27 for a wonderful, informative morning!
