Mark bought be some Italian plums. I love those little things! He was buying fruit while I was chatting with Pete from Pete's toffee. He makes the very best toffee! www.petesperfecttoffee.com
Concord grapes. Lon has never had grapes with seeds. He is not so sure that those are the grapes for him.
Lon was able to get a little pumpkin. They tried to give him a big one, but he wanted a teeny tiny pumpkin. It was a perfect pumpkin in shape, just very small. SO cute. He made a paper hat for the pumpkin and it is now decorating the half wall.
When we came home, Lon went back to work on his river. I was not sure what he was really doing. It seemed very important to him. It was equally important that I not look at it or try to help.
This is what he made. I am super impressed. He did this all by himself. He said that he wanted to make this look like a real Civil War Battle. Perhaps he was paying attention to all those things I told him when we went to a couple battlefields last spring.
