Field Day

Today was field day at school. All the kids got a buddy to go around with and do all the games. There were a bunch of fun things for the kids to do. 

Lon with a bunch of the other kids figuring out what to do next. They each got a paper with the all the stations on it. They had to get 10 marked off for their first snack, and 5 more for a second snack.  Lon did not know at this point I was there.

Lon and Dillion. Dillion is in third grade now. Lon thought he was a great guy!You were not allowed to be separated from your buddy. You don't leave and go off with other friends, you and your buddy were a team for the entire day!

Cake Walk! Lon loves these. The prizes were mechanical pencils or bracelets. Lon actually won! There was only one winner per round, and you could only play once. Lon got a camo pencil. He is very happy with his pencil.

T-ball. He can at least hit the ball, not far, but it is a hit.

Ball Toss to the rings. There were no prizes for game other than the cake walk. Lon did not do too badly on the ball toss, he did hit the targets

Knock down pins. Lon did knock them down.  He was only three feet away, but pins went down!

Hockey is not his strong suit

Basketball toss. It was way too high for Lon to actually get it in the basket, but he made a good attempt

Alot of kids got done with most of the stations and had a few minutes left, so they went to the play ground.

What did they say? The kids were not allowed on the play equipment. They went back to the field

Everyone had already done tug of war, so they let the kids have more tugs till the bell rang for field day to be over. Lon always picked the winning side.  He had lots of fun at school today.

Tomorrow is the kindergarten field trip. To the zoo.
