We had some wonderful fun planned for today!
Maybe go to Cape Lookout National Seashore and Moore's Creek National Battlefield. Seeing some of Myrtle Beach
Lovely blue sky as we left New Bern, home of Pepsi-Cola!
The sky started to turn dark
It was just 10 am
As Arthur flirted with being a tropical depression, a category one hurricane or a category two hurricane, things were closing. All the area National Parks closed, the outer banks and National Seashores were being evacuated as a precaution.
By the time we got home, the car was sparkly clean on the outside and the sun was shining in Summerville.
It was a wonderful vacation!
