Today was Lon's Seventh Birthday. Sadly, it rained and rained like crazy. Just about everyone who was invited came. We all stayed inside and had a great time in spite of the weather
We pinned up almost 90 spirals to the ceiling. It looked so wonderful!
The cake! We sprinkled it all over with silver sprinkles. Lon loved the way our car looked on the cake!
The lego table. It was plan B.
The kids enjoying plan B! They all had a wonderful time playing legos
The food table. It was all good. It was all almost gone by the time the party ended
Princess Kayla.
Cake Walk! We did 5 rounds of cake walk for Lego Prizes. The kids LOVED it. If I had more prizes, they would have done it more! It was in a little bit of cramped quarters, but it worked out nice enough
Grandma was able to come up for the party and she was a wonderful help in every way! It was great to have her here, we miss her when she has to go.
All the kids were blowing birthday horns in the house, and Anya's Grandmother started blowing one too. It got VERY VERY loud in the house. The horns were stopped soon after!
We stopped the horns by having the pinata! It was a defective pull string, it looked like it had alot of strings to pull. But it only had one once we took the slip knot out. So it was too soon a free for all.
A little too much much, time for a cuddle break
THE ICE CREAM MAN! The rain started to let up a bit, perfect timing on the truck's part. Everyone loves the ice cream man. Kids and adults
Blowing out the candles on the cake.
Presents! Lon has some wonderful friends who showered him with very fun things Lots of legos! Books! Science kits! Travel games! We will write out thank you notes in the morning!
Drew looking at one of Lon's science kits!
We had a wonderful time in spite of the rain and having to stay indoors.
