Uncle Vasu's Housewarming Party

Saturday was a beautiful day! Uncle Vasu had a housewarming party.
It was very nice. Lon wore his special outfit from India, at least for a while. We did not want to get it dirty.

We packed up the little push car, which turned out to be a huge hit with all the little ones. Lon did get a little jealous from time to time with other kids riding in HIS toy, but he did really well with it overall.

He ran and played with Victoria.

They both pushed the car around.

Lon and Uncle Vasu played football!

Then everyone joined in playing a game with the football.

Auntie Michelle and Brian!

Uncle Chong!!!

Uncle Rahul came up from his new home in Texas! The good news is that Uncle Rahul is getting married in December! He is engaged to a beautiful girl! (I saw the pictures!)

Baby Brian with our new friend Arancha (her name means Prayer, I hope I spelled it correctly!) Her Sari is so pretty.

Brian got passed around to everyone and seemed to be very happy. I was giving his bib a squeak.

Lon had a good time. The food was terrific. Vasu's mother worked really hard! The tandori chicken was my favorite. The Briyani was also wonderful, and they had something with a sauce and chickpeas I liked too. I think Lon's favorite was the Mango Lassi.
