More Lady of the Lake

The Lady of the Lake stopped several times, to let people off. This time was at Lucerne. The water is so clear! Lon wants a closer look.

I kept a tight hold on him. He would have jumped right in!

Our next stop was in Stehekin. We stopped there for an hour and a half. They have a lodge, a snack bar, soon a resturant (it is being renovated now). They have a Forest Service Interpretive Center too.

We got Lon his National Parks Passport. It is a nifty program where you can get your passport stamped at alot of the National Parks. I think Lon will think it is fun. His first stamp Stehekin!

The Interpretive Center is where we also meet the elusive Daddy-lope. Lon at this point is just about ready to fall asleep.

Lon fell asleep just before we were supposed to get back on board. He slept, on me, for 2 and a half hours. It made the trip back go by much faster for him! I even got a little nap in. That was nice.

We have lots of beauty shots of the lake. If you are interested I will set up a page of nothing but beauty shots. The lake was gorgeous. It was a clear, nice day. Perfect to be out on the lake. I am glad we went.
