Morning in Seaside, Sleeping in Our Own Beds

Blogger thought the last blog was long enough and would not let me post the last few photos I have from the pool in Seaside. I will post those and then move on to our drive home. A much shorter blog this time!

Dunking Daddy. More or less. Mark dunked himself while Lon laughed. Lon would not dunk his head
Lon is so happy he could go into the hot tub. He is not allowed into the hot tub at the Y.

As we went to dinner we passed the indoor carosel. We went to dinner first, then we came back and rode the carosel.  Our dinner was at Pig n' Pancake! Lon had sand dollar pancakes, for dinner!

The next morning we walked around Seaside, for just a few minutes. It was windy and cold! We got Lon's picture at the End of the Trail marker. Lewis and Clark.  He was getting too cold to get many more photos.

Lon and Daddy waiting for breakfast at Pig n' Pancake. Lon is the third generation to LOVE the place!  They are working on the Scooby-Doo seek and find book.

Grandpa Bill and Babcha met us for breakfast. It was so good to spend some time with them.

After breakfast we hit the road, heading home. We passed a place that said, Altoona Pillar 5 miles. We went to go see what it was. We could not find a pillar, but we found signage.

Lon at where the Altoona Pillar was supposed to be. We told him to keep his head up, he went a little bit too far

I just liked this funky little building

A fountain by the roadside in Kelso. This is the last picture from our lovely weekend. A good time was had by all, even if the weather was cold the last two days!  Love the Oregon Coast!
