Mystic Seaport

Our last monday, we went to Mystic Seaport. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the Seaport! Uncle Jeffy joined us. Since Daddy spent time with Lon at the playground at Old Sturbridge Village, Mommy took Lon to all the playgrounds while Daddy looked around!
The Amistad
Rebuilding the Charles W. Morgan. The right way.
Cutting the logs into timbers for use in the ship
Pretty pictures of the Seaport. It was a beautiful day.

Lon and the Cigar Store Indian. He is getting taller! We have a picture of him next to the Indian last year.
The playground!

Inside the Children's Museum! The first thing Lon went to was Noah's Ark. Same toy he went first last year too! He loves that toy!
On board the horse drawn carriage. Joe was our horse and John was the driver.
Ready to move on to something else!
Inside the diorama building. It shows how Mystic looked in the 1850s. The height of the Whaling industry. There was a tape loop telling you about the history of wooden ships. I found it very interesting. While I was doing that Daddy and Lon were...
touring another wooden ship
Back inside the Children's Museum. He loves that place
Riding a boat back from the other side of the Seaport.
Coming to join Mommy after her quick whirlwind shopping
Daddy stopped at the scenic overlook on the way back. It is beautiful!
