A Day at Rocky Hill State Dinosaur Park

Monday, the 14th, Grammalyn, Daddy, Mommy and Lon all went up to Rocky Hill to see the Dinosaur tracks. It is a fun place. Lon had a fun time
The real tracks!
Watching the dinosaurs, when the thunder started, and the roaring started Lon really wanted out of the room!
So we went to the playroom. The puzzles were fun!
The dinosaur puppet was very cool

We made a plaster impression of a track. Thanks so much to Al, he saved our bacon when I messed up the first batch of plaster.
Lon and I went on a walk on the trails, but it was not so much to Lon's liking.
The track in the box. It made it home safe, now we have to figure out what the heck we are doing with it.
We stopped at Friendly's for lunch. Lon ate what he calls Mexican pizza, a quessidilla. So he got his choice of dessert

He pretty much demolished it
Lon enjoyed that ice cream like crazy!
We passed a great park in Cromwell, so we stopped.
He had a great time running around all the fun stuff.

Even though there is tons of playground equipment, and lots of ball fields, there is no restroom. None. I thought it very odd. So Lon went outside.
One way home would take us on the Chester Ferry. That is the way I picked! It was such a pretty day.
The house up on the hill is Gillette Castle. We did not tour it this year.

Tiffany Diary Farm. We drove by and said Hi to the cows. I think one of the places we stopped for ice cream got their milk from Tiffany. And I just like cows. Lon waved to them too.
