Roses for Harishitha

Tomorrow is the American Reception for Uncle Vasu's lovey bride, Auntie Harishitha!

Lon and I made her an American style wedding cake. Lon was a big help. He really did a good job!

The top has the stylized hearts painted on in gold. I did the design, let it dry and the put the roses over it.

Auntie Harishitha loves roses, so I made LOTS of roses!

View from the top!

This is the little cake for them to keep, in the freezer, till their first anniversary!
Yes, all the roses are made from icing!

Holy sugar coma, how many weeks did it take you to make that? Spectacular!

Each color rose took one evening, then into the freezer, the cake one night to bake, then 9 hours to put it all together.
