A Haircut, then a Water Adventure

Today, Sunday, Mark wanted to get a haircut. We also wanted to check out the new Crossroads Water Park.

This is fun! The blue is all squishy and fun. There is water squirting randomly at various places through out the park. The boat was the most fun. Lon called it his pirate ship.

There are three orcas (killer whales) in the park. Each blows water out of it's blow hole. So cool.

The water is fun to watch.

Running. Always running.

A break from the water to play on the play ground equipment. Slides are good.

Yes, those are the pants from his birthday, with the pocket flaps removed. He has on his famous backyardigans shirt and speedo water shoes (the best!)

Climbing.

I like it here.

Climbing up the back on the largest orca

The ball will roll in the fountain with kids pushing it. It is the Rotary International fountain.

Lon gets his head wet in a water jet.

Lon on one of the little orcas, with a new friend in the background. They ran around like crazy. And got very very wet. So much fun!

One wet little guy in his pirate ship!

Getting even more wet, Mommy is so glad I brought clean dry clothes, a towel and a blanket!

A slide break

More climbing

One last trip to the boat.

We went home after the last roll of the ball. Lon and this little one got along well too. He is about a year younger than Lon. Lon had alot of fun at this park, I think it is going to be a wonderful place if the weather gets warmer.
