The Lynx. The red-coats were there, because they stole it from us! When we talked to the soldiers, we found out that the HMS Bounty was not going to be here, for whatever reason.
Some nifty shots of the Lynx. Small and fast.
At the re-enactors table they had all sorts of thing that they used on board. And the things they took back, like pelts. Lon thought red fox was very soft.
We left Ilwaco and headed north to Long Beach. They have some great kites, the wind is always blowing!
There is a boardwalk, .4 mile long. At the end there is a monolith and this statue of of Clark with a sturgeon.
Lon wants a kite. He thinks they look like alot of fun.
We pushed the stroller alot, but we did let Lon out to play in the sand, his back to the wind.
Lon met a little guy named Cody who wanted to play. Cody was about half of Lon's age. Lon really nice to him. He shared very well.
Lon played for a long time after Cody had to go home. This was his beach vacation after all!
Chasing seagulls, the ran just a little faster than Lon-- They were running, not flying away.
Back at the house, Lon climbed up into a great tree. He enjoyed himself up there!
I really wanted a crab shack kind of dinner on Saturday night. This fit the bill very well! We ate outside on the back deck, over looking a slough.
Lon has some toys with him to help him wait while our food came. Pablo, Elmo and the all important never leave home without it, Mystery Machine.
Lon took one of Daddy's fried oysters! And he ate it! Such an adventurous boy!
Yes, this is a where's waldo picture. Can you find the deer?

Hello,
May I suggest you remove your comment about Bounty and post an apology to the HMS Bounty crew and organization.
Where did you ever get this totally incorrect information?
Go Bounty!
Barbara Kuchau
This was the information I was told when I asked. We went to Ilwaco specifically to see the Bounty.
