Sunday morning we packed up, and headed out. We stopped at the Column.

He finds optics fascinating. 
Another glorious day in Oregon! Our plan was to climb the stairs inside the column to get some great photos. That just was not to be. The tower is getting a new stair case and it will take about a year. They are also going to get an interpretive center and bigger gift shop. The area will be super nice next summer.
