Friday night we all went into Bucca Di Beppo (loosely translates to Joe's Garage). It is a nice family style Italian Restaurant.
I was in the back seat with Lon. He was fascinated by this building. On the sandwich board outside it said there were tours. I am going to look it up and see what I can find out about it. It is a very interesting late Victorian building.
All of the photos in the restaurant will have a red glow. We were in the Cardinal room. Hence, the red glow. Lon is eating Caesar Salad.
Our server, Tomas (from the Czech Republic) brought the little guys plain pasta. Lon seems to really like that with lots of butter and cheese. He definitely shares his Mommy's genes. This is when I took the little movie that I posted before.
The wiggle worm is caught by his Grandma! Lon would run out the of the Cardinal room and race down the hall to the kitchen. About halfway to the kitchen he would stop and see if anyone was chasing him. He would giggle and run a little slower so mommy or daddy could catch him and he would laugh even more! We got to take the leftovers home, which turned out to be a really good thing! Tomas thought it was excellent that we did that. Mark took Lon, Jeff and Gigi back to the house. Grandma took her brother, Eddie. Andy stayed in town, couldn't see Grandma till the wedding!
I took Father Ron and Christa home, they were staying across the street from us. I used the Gramin. 99% of the time she is just dandy. This time, she was not updated to the street closures, new one way streets, etc. We ended up in Rock Creek Park, on a barely paved cow path. Around and around the city, till I finally stopped a sign for 395 south, thanked God and went home. It was an adventure. Made me realize that I do not know anything about driving in the dark in DC.
Tomorrow's blog will be the WEDDING!

Bucca is a fun place, good for kids! Lon looks like he is enjoying! :)
That's Czech Republic
Lon had a grand time. Being chased and spaghetti, heck, they only way it could have been better was if Curious George was there!
Thank you oh wise annonymous one. I am looking forward to seeing you very soon.
