The last weekend of May we went camping in Leavenworth! We went with Mark's rafting group and Uncle Rahul and Auntie Prachi came along!
Uncle Rahul's and Auntie Prachi's tent with Icicle Creek in the background. Very high and very fast. Lon was warned about going near the river and he was very very good about not going anywhere near the river!
Running around our campsite. We had the BIG tent!
In the morning while the big boys went rafting Lon, Auntie Prachi and I toured Leavenworth~I love chainsaw bears!
Auntie Prachi feeding the miniature cow and a goat at Smallwoods Farm and Fruit Stand.
Lon loves riding the John Deere Trikes that are all around the petting zoo!
Pretty Peacocks
It was time to get down to the river to meet Daddy!
It's Daddy! In a raft! Uncle Rahul is there too, but I think he is behind the bush..
Waiting for Daddy to help breakdown the rafts is fun!
Breaking down the rafts!
Uncle Rahul and Auntie Prachi touring Leavenworth with us after dinner in Cashemere. They went home after this and we had one more night of camping! Daddy was going rafting again the next morning.
Lon took this picture of Daddy setting up the camp stove for coffee the next morning!
Lon and his healthy breakfast blueberry poptart.
We went back to Smallwoods. Lon loves the place!
Lon found the cow train and so wanted to go for a ride. I was not sure if they were going to run the train for the public. They were having a lot of birthday parties that day
Lon found a tractor! He pretended to drive it, it broke down, he fixed it. It was very fun.
Feeding the sheep that are above our heads
Very funny to have sheep eating above your head!
Lon learned how to work the feed machine and wanted all my quarters after that.
Learning to feed the goats. He loved it.
They would give Lon a ride with the birthday party kids! Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!
The ride took a full 10 minutes! Lon loved it. He talked about it all the way home
More waiting for Daddy. But when you have a shovel and a dirt pile the time goes fast!
There he is! The one in the brown hat.
Pulling the raft up to the breakdown lawn
Getting the wiggles out before we went home.
It was a great camping trip. We had fun and we can't wait to do it again.
