Our super fun Saturday started off by going to lunch at the Wilde Rover. It is a lovely spot in downtown Kirkland. They have a nice enclosed patio- that makes it IDEAL to have lunch with Lon. It is an Irish Pub. I learned that a boxty is just an Irish term for pancake. The food was just okay today. The last time we ate there it was really wonderful.
After lunch we walked around the waterfront. Lon really liked it. He really wanted to get out of the umbrella stroller. The ducks, the water, the dogs, the water, the other kids, the water, the grassy park, the water, those were all reasons to get out of the stroller. We were mean and did not let him as we would have never gotten him back into it!
Boats are fun, just like airplanes are way too cool.
After being downtown, it was pool time. Lon changed into his swim shorts, but he wanted a shirt on too. Actually he insisted on putting his shirt on.
Playing in the pool. He loves his pool. Thanks again Grandma!
After some pool time, it was time to investigate the tent. Daddy set up the tent, to see if it would all go together since we have not set it up in years.
Then the hose got turned on, as Lon pretty much INSISTED that the water must come through the hose or his world would turn on it's ear. Well, he got his wish, and I needed to water the plants in the planter boxes...
Lon is such a good helper! We watered the planter boxes several times. Lon loves water!
