When we went back east in July, we went to Montpelier. James Madison's home. It was very nice (see past blog) When we went to the gift shop, they had a a Christmas room, it had nothing to do with James or Dolly, but they had some great Christmas stuff. The Advent calendar is wonderful!
Lon is learning how is works. He points at it in the morning, and wants to open another door. The box is about a two inches deep, so as he gets older he will have other things in there besides matchbox cars. It is so much fun to watch Lon learn all the Christmas Traditions! He is having more fun with things this year. We are hiding all the presents in the garage, even the ones NOT from Santa. Lon thinks they should all be unwrapped, NOW and by Lon. It is very cute.
