Today was the last day of Kindergarten. Lon has now completed a school year. It has not been without its ups and downs, but we survived and are full of hope for next year.
It was a half day, which for half day kindergarten is 20 minutes longer!

Lon signing the paper plate mortar boards. The kids each got a plate with their name on it, and then passed it around to have all the other kids sign it.
Getting ready to walk up and get his graduation certificate

The hat really does not fit him well, but he is trying to keep it on his head

A hand shake and a certificate.

Not sure what Lon said to his teacher. Would love to know..

It was finally time to give his teacher the present from Lon! He was so looking forward to giving it to her, it was so hard for him to wait

What could it be in this big Amazon.com bag?

Oh, she likes that fabric! She liked the shirt I made for Lon from the same material, so it was the perfect baking

Getting a glimpse

oh my goodness

Spread out for all to see.
The reason Lon was no longer wearing his paper plate mortar board was that it was also a birthday celebration for the summer birthdays. There were only 4 in the class. We had store bought mini cupcakes and cookies, juice boxes and sandwiches. It was a good way to end Kindergarten. Lon celebrated by staying up as late as he wanted, all the way till 9:34.
