Lon wanted to ride his bike, so we took him up to the school playground. It was a safer place to ride!
First there was the walk around to see all the chalk work someone had drawn before we got there. 
Then a little clean up. Gotta pick up rocks!
Then he was riding. 
Lon found a basketball. Mark and I kicked it back and forth and Lon tried to get it with his bike. It was fun. Even though it was Sunday morning we decided to see if we could find some garage sales. And we did! We even scored a Lego set (mickey and minnie, but it came with lego cake!) Lon keeps giving me the lego cake, something just for you Mommy! How sweet is that?
When we got back, there were two kids riding their scooters in the cul de sac. Milan and Lena! They are children of our neighbor's friend. Lon got out his scooter and they all rode together for a while. Lon got out is his bike to keep up. They went inside, because Lon had LEGOS! Legos rule. Who knew? I found our box of chalk, that was fun. I wanted them outside on this beautiful day! 
Showing off what they drew. It was lunch time. I made a cheese pizza for the kids as I knew that was something they could all eat. They played inside for a few minutes. We ate lunch outside, under the umbrella ! It was such a pretty day. 
Lena and Lon had a great time outside with the bubble machine! It was tough on Milan to break the pull of legos. The kids did not want to go home! Mark and I planned on something else for dinner but we cooked burgers on the grill, those were the best burgers! We got the most out of our beautiful day. When Monday dawned it was back to cold rain. We had one day of spring! Gives me hope there will be more.
