Lincoln City Wrap Up

We loved our time in Lincoln City on the beach.
Not letting go of Lon!

pretty

My favorite photo from Saturday. I think from this trip

Mark found this agate! It is HUGE! It is going to clean up so nice. It has such a pretty glow to it already

After some fun on the beach and a Jacuzzi tub to warm up the boys, we went to dinner. We tried the Thai place. It had good reviews from the front desk. It did not have a kids menu so we went down the street to Lee's Chinese Cuisine.  We loved the cheesey decor.  They did not have a poo-poo platter or drinks with umbrellas. That would make it wonderful. The food was surprisingly good. There was so much of it we put it in the cooler and took it home for dinner the next night!

After dinner, we went across the street and watched the sun set into the Pacific.

Seagulls waiting for a sunset snack

The logo of our new favorite place to stay in Lincoln City. We will be going back there!

Lon chasing seagulls once we got back to the hotel. We fed the seagulls in front of our hotel the left over french fries from Lon's dinner

At dusk the fire pits in the sunken gardens are lit. The front desk has s'more kits and skewers.

Lon loved it!  It was such a great idea!

Lon was so tired. He ran and played. Got up early, went 500 miles an hour all day, went to bed late. It only took three days for him to crash hard.
The view from our hotel

Going up 101.

We crossed the Astoria Bridge. I kept looking out to sea. I was not really trusting my eyes. Were those really sailing ships? Why, yes, yes they were!  I have no idea why they were there or what they were doing but it was cool to see them. We stopped on the side of the road to take pictures and so did lots of other people.
It was a great trip, we enjoyed it very much.  We will be going back. Just not sure exactly when!
