I opened my mouth a while ago, and said something about all of the kids getting a quilt when they graduate. It was then pointed out to me that someone I knew had graduated, while not a kid, deserving just the same.
I wanted the challenge of a silk quilt. The backing, the top and even the batting is a silk/cotton blend. I think it turned out nicely.
Of course there are mistakes, but it was made with love.
