Cruising Home Depot

On Holy Thursday night, my kitchen faucet broke. No water pressure and no hot water. This was not an acceptable situation. We packed up the family and went to Home Depot to get a new faucet. GiGi was tired, so we got her a riding cart. Lon thought that was too much fun! He had to ride with her!

Makin calls while cruising along.
Lon loves Home Depot. He can't wait to go back and cruise the aisles with GiGi.
I think I have now got the blog all caught up.

GiGi's Birthday

On April 10, GiGi had a birthday. She turned 91. Pretty good for someone whose parents did not think she would make it so they did not register her birth for 10 days! We had a nice party with the family.

GiGi shared her chocolate covered cherries with everyone, including Lon.

Lon loved his chocolate. He had a great time helping his GiGi celebrate her birthday!

Finishing Up a Tulip Afternoon

We stopped by a field of Daffodils. It said, no parking, so Mark dropped me off and went down the road, turned around to get me after I took the photos!

We went up to Anacortes to see if we could see the Tulip Fields from Mt. Erie. We could, barely. It was SO windy up there!

This is to show the wind on Lake Campbell! Lon did not get out of the car up there!

A good day was had by all!

Tulip Time

Mark and I have always enjoyed going up to see the tulip fields in Skagit county. This year is the 24th annual Tulip Fest. It is hard to believe that Mark and I have been going to this for 13 years!

Lon and his Gigi at Rozengaarden. It was cold and windy! But the flowers are so beautiful. Lon picked out 5 bunches to take home. Nice.

Lon and Daddy.

Windblown tulips!

Even though it is the Tulip Festival, they do have some other plants. Lon likes the Rhody.

Completely random. As we were leaving the fields, we drove through LaConner. There were turkeys in the road.

A Little More Easter

These are some pictures my mom (grandma) took at Easter. Just too cute to pass up!

Happy Easter!

This year was fun! The Easter Bunny was a busy guy at our home!

Lon's special Easter Basket! He also had got some new washable markers, 16 colors this time! WoW! Lots of peanut butter chocolates too! What could be better!

Lon sees his basket on Easter Morning! Pretty nifty! The Easter bunny will come back tomorrow and pick up his basket. That way, when he is a good boy all year the Easter Bunny will bring his basket back filled with more good stuff. This whole Easter Bunny thing is just the coolest thing since Santa!

Waiting for our guests!

A little snack. Swedish rye with orange honey butter! Lon loves the Swedish rye!

Our spread! We had all the staples, Ham, Polish Sausage, Pashka, Kulich, Italian Easter Egg Bread, Hot Cross Buns, Three kinds of mustards, Beets & Horseradish, and a Babka! I am so happy, my babka came out so well! It is so rich, half of it was gone! We had a punch too.

Victoria in all her Easter Finery!

Lon's first Kiss! I think it might be Victoria's too!

Lon and Uncle Vasu! Vasu came in his lovely garment. He looked so handsome.

There will be more pictures posted soon.

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Lon Helps

Lon can think up new ways to help! He is unloading the dryer, from the inside!

Note to attorney: The dyer was not on, was not even warm during this photo shoot.
